Evolvagility Learning Journeys

A deep dive into the art and practice of human transformation.

There are problems that are solved by having something, and there are problems that are solved by becoming something.

-- John Vervaeke

The challenges and crises we face in today’s world are unprecendented in human history.

What is needed is not a new technology for solving problems, but a new technology for solving the fundamental problem: the nature of mind and heart that created todays poly-systemic problems to begin with.

Evolvagility advances a technology of human practice whose aim is to cultivate unique and powerful learning environments which bring about dramatic shifts in the way people think, act, and relate—both to the world around them, and with each other.

The art and practice of becoming

Two learning paths are key to these shifts.

Vertical Facilitation

In our work with teams and groups, many of us see to provide learning experiences that are not merely informative but also transformative.

Transformative learning points not just to what we know and what we think, but how we know and how we think. It’s the

We need to learn to be in the face of the confusion, uncertainty, ambiguity, and rapid change that is the defining quality of life in a post-modern 21st century world. We need to have the capacity to act effectively, and with alignment with intention and purpose.

This is the domain of human performance in which we need transformative learning at least as much as we need informative learning.

Vertical Facilitation is a manner of leaderfully interacting with others, usually over the course of time, in ways that deliberately catalyze transformative—or what we call ‘vertical’--learning.

Personal Leadership Development

For those of us who see ourselves as transformation leaders, there is the blunt recognition that, in order to catalyze transformation around us, we must also catalyze transformation within ourselves.

Personal transformation, however, is, as they say, “not for sissies”. It entails a willingness to take an honest look at ourselves.

To see beyond what we already “know”—about ourselves, about others, about the world. To embrace unfamiliar paradigms of thinking. To stand in awareness of the essential embarrassment and hesitancy that holds us back as transformation leaders.

When we authentically confront and embrace that which blinds us to our authentic possibility, space is made for the emergence and realization of that possibility. Inner changes arise from the transmutation of our very limitations into the possibility of action that is congruent with our most ardently held vision for the world. New skills and abilities come on line.

We are no longer encumbered.

The curriculum for inner development is a deliberately developmental ecosystem that catalyzes profound transformations in our capacity for leaderful impact in the world.
